we never saw Nymphidium baeotia in the North East, but Jason Hall reports it from Pimpilala and South of Tena, and, in 2014, Les Catchick took a pictue of one near Tena and Rich Hoyer at Garzacocha.
the specimens figured above come from French Guyana, but it is not a variable species.
