this Mesosemia ulrica was pictured West of Yasuni by Les Catchick and at Shushufindi by Guy Broome ; what is remarkable is the fact that it is the nominal ssp, described from the Guyanas, and not ssp messala, described from Ecuador, that we found in Sangay NP, and the male of which has a white band on the FW.
