we never saw Nymphidium acherois in the North East, but Jason Hall reports it from Lumbaqui, Pimpilala and Yasuni.
the specimens figured above come from Bolivar, Venezuela and Rondonia, Brasil, but it is not a variable species.
fortunately, in 2019, Karen Nichols took pictures of a male South of Tena, and, apparently, there are almost no differences between this male and the one from Rondonia.
