if we rely on the pictures in Jason Hall paper (1995), and on those from butterfliesofamerica, the butterfly above should be Ithomiola bajotanos, which is said to fly between 1000 and 1500 meters.
these three species Ithomiola orpheus, tanos andbajotanos are just undistinguishable, but fly at different elevations.
